Hey,I resemble that remark! I have a lot of friends and relatives in the high tech industry, including myself! But, then, it is a business and it is Grove's and Gates' their job to maximize stockholders' return.
I read what they really intended to do over there is to "work over" (good team for that, Grove and Gates) the Indian government and industry and try to get them convinced to put more money into computing so they can sell more computers and software there. OTOH, the country of India, and Russia, are growing fast in software development. So, they can write software there and FTP, email it, etc. it over to here. Global industry.
