Doug:
Not to over-extend an analogy, but in market terms, I doubt that he can skate, never mind hold a hockey stick. That said, I hate banning with a passion (ask the guys over on the CFZ thread).
From my point of view, I would much rather see him forced into competing or contributing, rather than cat-calling from the cheap seats, hence his every criticism should be met with a "put up or shut up" kind of response. He doesn't like Zeev's forecasts? Ok, smart guy, let's see yours and let's see how good YOURS are compared with those of whom you would be critical. I have seen similar behaviour on other good threads. I will grudgingly put up with arrogance when it is accompanied by excellent market info., perceptions, or forecasts. Of course, good calls accompanied by good manners, goes much further in my book.
Let him hang around, so long as he accepts my challenge. If Mark thinks he is market-savvy enough to be critical of others, then let's see the colour of his calls and trades. We will know soon enough whether he is merely perverse and mouthy or arrogant but market-smart.
