All you do as I understand it is connect your cell phone to your CPU but you have to buy a "card" for the CPU.
Sprint PCS will launch this same 1X technology nation wide this summer. FYI, the next upgrade for Verizon and PCS will take speeds way beyond current DSL speeds


Don, Thanks for that information on cdma 1X. I guess monthly costs will probably come down as more and more order this service.
Is it any wonder they could not fund the fiber optic to the home projects in the late 1990s. Too many saw the potential of wireless.
All that talk about QCOM potential back then is just about to start getting realized in the marketplace.

I guess QCOM could go below 20...all depends upon the market but there is a tendency to buy stocks that have growth ahead of them. These launches plus the future upgrades just indicate the potential for QCOM. Never really heard what is happening with W-CDMA based launches but have not paid much attention to this sector lately.
