I'm a big John Wayne fan. I remember seeing an interview of Kirk Douglas. Douglas related the story how John Wayne had chastised him for playing Vincent Van Gogh in "Lust for Life" saying the character was a weak minded individual and Kirk had a responsibility to the children that looked up to him. I have a pen and ink portrait and also a lithograph of the Duke in matching frames over my fireplace. Also the first and last initials of myself, wife, son, and daughter is JW. * * *
