Nothing particular happened to note. While I sometimes speculate based on such "feeling" too, I suspect this mode of thinking is big for you, despite your avowed disbelief in "hocus pocus." Many call it mysticism. The market doesn't always know when something is up, and what one feels in ones bones is seldom noted later if proven wrong(most often the case).
