Thanks, really appreciate your taking the time to write up that analysis. I like your rule of thumb calculation for investing in these tech companies. I'll have to see how it looks and works on the tech stocks I have. I'll consider AFCO further. Three hindering factors are 1) my fear that AFCO and other tech stocks will be driven even lower in this downtrend; 2) I now seem to see a diverse number of inexpensive stocks with good prospects, and these compete with AFCO for my attention and investing monies; and 3) I'm not technical enough to assess AFCO's future based on the merits of its technologies or businesses. (although this hasn't stopped me before from holding a small AFCO position) Paul Senior
