hdl: ...although you don't show compassion... Apologies if I came across as lacking compassion for anyone who has experienced losses on tech stocks over the past couple of years, not my usual style. Being a "member" of this particular "class", I certainly feel for anyone with a LTB&H perspective who has stayed partially or fully invested during this time. The tone of my response to your question was prompted by the fact that as well as discussion on this thread, there was a ton of publicity about the $259 million COMS coughed up to get rid of this class action lawsuit, so I found it hard to believe that anyone who had bought COMS in 1997 hadn't become aware of the payout, through the press reports, their broker, or some other source. Looks like you didn't miss out on any portion of the settlement payout anyway, so my unnecessary barb didn't annoy you as much as it might have. David T.
