Jim,
re: 1.So, it's OK to send the armed forces to defend other countries borders but not ours?
Clever talk radio conservative comment, but it doesn't make any sense. We send troops where they are needed, we don't defend things that don't need defending.
What exact threat are you looking at, how many terrorist acts have been committed by illegal aliens? The bulk of illegal immigration is from Mexico, and most of these folks are working under minimum wage, picking crops and mowing lawns, and doing other work that most American nationals don't want to do. Hardly evil terrorist cells. Tighted up on those folks, fine, but it's going to cost the country in higher wages.
re: 3. It's OK to use your money for healthcare of illegal aliens while having no deportation strings attached?
Can you quantify this cost for me? How does it compare to the pork that is in the new, budget busting Bush federal spending plan?
I agree that immigration is an issue, but it certainly isn't an important issue wrt terrorism.
And you want the government to control which charities we can contribute to? Where could that lead?
re: You know, I never really gave my opinion
LOL
re: Hard to believe how complacent people still are.
Hard to believe how one event has changed this country.
Classic conservatives want less government intervention in our affairs. You seem to want the opposite. Who is the "liberal attach dog"?
