I see Loki already responded to you and basically agree with him, particularly on Ballack's YC... a foul yes, a yellow card, no, the ref simply missed the intent, to the ball yes, and hard, but not to the man.

One more comment not on the referee but on Kahn... a sign of a great keeper, was on a cross from Korea and throwing himself towards the opposite side of the goal (where the ball was heading), seeing a Korean striker nearby and him not having full control of the situation, he handles the ball, (getting enough of it with the palm of his hand, and throwing it towards the base line (making the ball go out of play).

His concentration was great and knowing exactly what position he had relative to his own goal, defusing a potentially dangerous play...

Great keeper Kahn is.
