Hi Scott,

I completely agree. Ms. Stewart is getting scapegoated here. According to one version of things I've heard, she profitted $30,000 on her investment in ImClone. So basically she was simply trying, intelligently, to avoid losing her capital. It's like the "Clinton Whitewater" re-run.

Same insanity with Amtrak. While the nation wrings its hands over a $200 MM top-up, the Congress passes a $7 Billion appropriation for the completely fraudulent National Missile Defense program. A program that is so blatantly inept and wrong that the contractors and administrators have decided to take it "black" and avoid even DoD scrutiny. This is just plain wrong.

And Amtrak deserves whatever subsidy it takes to keep it alive. The "privatization" greesters have no shame. They ruined the British passenger rail service, now they want to do it here. Society needs to stand up to these jerks. All of a feather with Ken Lay, master privatizer.
