Semi, I see things your way more than Jim's way, but let's get a consistent viewpoint. Mine is to enforce the current laws on illegal immigration, but also to expand the current limits on LEGAL immigration. Then if we abandoned our silly wealth redistribution programs like higher minimum wages or universal health care, we can afford to bring in more immigrants for jobs that non-minorities don't want to touch. We might even keep more businesses from moving operations overseas. Finally let's improve the joke of a system we call education. Let's reward excellence and stop pandering to mediocrity. This way, equal opportunity will exist for everyone, not just those who think America ought to become an exclusive country club. Tenchusatsu
GREAT, I'm O.K. with that. At Least you have a plan. It just appears to me that most of the time, those that advocate the "Let's Just Get Rid Of The Illegal Aliens, and give those jobs to Americans At Higher Wages, then everything will be fine", attitude, haven't thought through what the consquences of that would be. If we're willing to pay the price, fine, but I find that where I live, most of those type arguments, evaporate into thin air, when people find out how much that is going to cost.
