I have already reached the state that teevee describes in the previous post. In fact, I went to cash the Friday before Memorial Day.

I am convinced that I must buy gold. Perhaps the fine people on this thread would give me a primer on gold.

I have already made a feeble attempt: I bought a little BGO and GFI. I still have the BGO, sold the GFI when it went up 10%.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Ideally I would like to buy stock to hold for a year or so. I live in Texas but I think my brokerage can get Canadian stock.
