So far, I can see no reason to throw out baby or bathwater. Maybe tomorrow.

I suggest that it is not baby or bathwater that needs to be thrown out but the bucket of cement you're standing in. Maybe tomorrow after you've had a chance to get used to the idea. As always, I'm not trying to persuade you to switch to my scheme, only to recognize that there is more than one alternative and to give me some thoughtful feedback on it.
