Wow, I am impressed.

So, while this is not always the case, for instance - if the industry did not need tariffs, or if they are not strong enough tariffs to be effective, then they may not work at saving jobs in the target industry. It is not magic. You don't just say, here is tariffs, and the industry is saved.

And, they can also cause loss of jobs in other sectors, and they can also increase the number of jobs available in other sectors.

You are assuming they always are negative to an economy.

This is rubbish. More junk economics. Wherever you went to school to study that crap, you should sue them.
