WCOM is meaningless to the stock market as a whole. The issue has more to do with perception than anything else. Reaction to the 3 billion miss is very much hysterical. CSCO wrote down all their inventory of 2.7 billion over a year ago and not on even blinked the market rallied afterwards.

Yes prices are set by perception, but people must get real about the issues and real companies

It all has to do with the talking heads who do not even understand what they are talking about.
