In addition to the Steel and Farming industries, you could add to this list, Amtrak ($200M request) and United Airlines ($1.5B request), meanwhile the telco's are blowing up.

I always felt the Bush Admin & AG's concern over the impacts of an extended Budget surplus (as they had incorrectly projected), were unrealistic given the additional costs from aging baby boomers (let alone the cost of terrorism.) Saving for a rainy day isn't part of the US government's culture, but I guess that's why inflation is used? What are the odds we'll see inflation after this spending spree is done?
