I just attended two days of Business Week Asia Leadership conference at the Ritz in Hong Kong, and everybody, especially the Americans, lawyers, business leaders, and privately, a former FBI rep stationed in Asia-based US embassy, tore into what is wrong with the world, and its leadership.
One American speaker (lawyer) asked the audience to close our eyes for 10 seconds and imagine what must be going through the mind of a suicide bomber.
The subject matter had naught to do with the conference, and yet folks were agitated enough to just talk.
I think the advantage Hong Kong has over Malaysia and all other supposedly democratic countries is that we have freedom, whereas you have rights, until you do not.
