Boy, now that brings back the memories. My first street fight with the Gestapo was at the corner of Mifflin x Bassett, kitty corner from the Co-op. I have to admit, they were better trained than I was. I wanted to do the MLK/Gandhi non-violence thing and they were all about kicking butt. It wasn't even a fair fight. Frankly, I got intimidated by their billy clubs opening up heads a couple away from mine. Didn't look like effective protest at the moment. I did get to sample some lovely tear gas variants however.

BTW, did you see the Playboy Magazine contest that was run on the best party schools in the country? Among the top five finishers were UC-Boulder, SIU-Carbondale, UM-Ann Arbor, UC-Berkeley and one other I can't recall.

Some of us Bucky Badgers were really miffed. Until we sobered up and noticed the asterisk* adjacent to the Number One pick.
