George....Interesting comparison between Argentina 1990
and Germany 2002..

Argentina had more talent, some good players were nearing end of career,
and they underachieved.
Germay is overachieving and has many young less experienced players....who happen to
be very tenacious. (also a multitude of midfield injuries)

Your prediction of the result will probably be close. Kahn will probably not be at fault
for the goals. History of 17 International Games - Germany (3 Wins), Brazil (10 Wins), (4 Ties).
Germany (18 Goals), Brazil (31 Goals).

One should remember though that there are over 100 countries who would gladly
have their team finish second in the World Cup. One should, even if reluctantly,
give credit for their achievement.

I don't agree on the yellow to Ballack. He went after the ball. The replay showed that.
It was however a foul.

Further amazing is the fact that of the 15 Finals, Brazil and Germany have been in 12,
yet never met until the 16th Final.
