Lay stepped down as CEO AFTER the scandal exploded in his face.Why is Koslowski charged while Lay skates? Dick Cheney is Lay's friend and I'm certain Lay has something on Cheney; therefore Lay is, so far, immune from prosecution. Why do you so vehemently defend Lay? Is he someone you wish to emulate. Well, you can kiss that notion goodbye because evil like that won't rise again in our lifetimes. Lay put Enron together in Texas in 1986 during Bush Sr. rule. The rot in this country started in Texas. No offense to many nice Texans here.
