agreed.

like i said, i do not doubt the quality of the leagues. nhl only recently had players calling themselves world champions. Basketball, it has happened for a while.

(baseball is an anomaly, given the world series was named after the paper "the world" the title was simply misplaced in its intent)

while the leagues mentioned are the best (for now), if in the next few years, a rival league (i am being sport independent, so south american, european... etc) were to have one powerful team made up of excellent players, they could pull off an upset in a series. This sport and the punchers chance is why we watch.
