| Excellent point. And it's not like there wasn't any discovery of fraud or other accounting irregularities under the Clinton admin. There were, it's just that the punishment was so lax. Which only serves to encourage the activity. And now, when corporate fraud inevitably rears it's ugly head again, the people want to chop it off. It is understandable, that's how it works. From one extreme to the other. And if we do act with extreme haste, the fear is that it could really be harmful to business. Which is, exactly what the democrats want to do - destroy America. So, they not only look like the party that is good for the economy by encouraging fraud and thereby getting a stock market that is vastly overvalued, when they are out of power and the fraud becomes discovered, they get the added benefit of being the party against fraud, and maybe even if they play their cards right, they can just get enough people laid off of their jobs and onto welfare, that they eventually turn the country into a true heaven on earth for socialists. With enough voters on welfare, they will never have to worry about campaigning again, just keep those welfare checks rolling out. |
