On the topic of integrating SFNB's front end solution into a bank's back office, you raise an interesting point regarding the use of IBM's middleware (I'm assuming you're refering to the Gold standard of the Integrion alliance, if there's another middleware solution I'd love to hear about it). I wonder what the complementary / competing functions are of the SFNB and Integrion solutions. Could you plug an SFNB front-end / security protocol onto the Integrion security protocol / routing capabilities to deliver standardized transactions to a bank's processing engine (or even SFNB data center)? I don't really know how well the Integrion routing works. It is an interesting thought, though.

About the SFNB install process ... I know that SFNB has talked to a number of integration firms but I don't think anything has come from the discussions. I think this is key to SFNB's success, especially if they're going international. What seems like limited resources at SFNB would be stretched very thin internationally. They do need more throughput. Something similar to the SEBL/AC relationship would suit SFNB very well, IMHO. Anyone know of an integration relationship for SFNB?

Joel, other stocks that I follow include the sales force automation and customer care stocks. IMO, this is a market growing at 25-30% and the leaders (or good turn-around candidates) will do better than that. I currently own SCOP and BROC. I was in SEBL for a while but chickened out before the big money hit (P/E ratios over 150 scare this newbie investor). I also follow an eclectic groups of other stocks that I think will exceed market returns --

DCTM (innovative use of intranet technology and great alliances),

CKFR (well positioned for market leadership in electonic commerce), and

SYBS (I thought this was a good turn around candidate a year ago, but I just don't want to give up on it, its like being in a bad girlfriend relationship, I know it will lose ten pounds and grow a cup size as soon as I sell it)

I'm also looking at VONE and VRTY (I had the WSJ open to the V's). But as my friend Nate says: "Don't try to catch a falling sword".

Cheers,
KD
