Laz, In Babylon 5 they punished at least some murders with "death of personality". They where psychically mind wiped and conditioned so that 1 - They had no memories of their previous lives and 2 - They would desire to work hard to help people for the rest of their lives and to be non-violent, the idea being they would then pay their debt to society. If such a punishment was possible what would your reaction be. It would "society a definite tangible benefit" and cause the perp to pay compensation for the rest of his or her life. Personally I find the idea creepy. I'd rather be executed if I was the criminal. Tim
