We had a guy in my state who opted for no more tries. Just wanted to get it done. Sick bastard got done. When I was a kid I was in California when Chessman got the gas. Guy had done his own lawyer work and had stayed alive the longest. The California papers at the time said he took a deep breath and went to sleep. Later findings said he twisted in pain for 15 minutes. Still better than having cancer.
