There are two ways of looking at that, Bob. One perspective is from NAV discount/premium perspective. A second perspective is from the viewpoint of storage concerns being alleviated.

I do not have a problem with CEF trading at a premium to NAV any more than I have a problem with INTC or MSFT trading at a multiple to their discounted xyz year earnings going forward, etc etc etc.

Guess it depends upon what one thinks is valuable enough to wit paying a premium.

I've being buying gold coins et al for YEEEEARS at a premium to intrinsic value let alone face value, and you sold coins for years a similar premiums. Did you warn all your customers that they were paying to much for a St. G or a CC-cartwheel?

i look forward to your thoughtful reply....and I'm still hoping for your definition of "long term money management principles...perhaps if you'd share that in context with your observation (criticism?) of CEF's "premium to NAV comment which you have frequently made on this thread and elsewhere, we could more fully appreciate your perspective and source of criticism?
