Until Clinton took office, many CEO's might have wanted to act like monkeys jerking off in the trees, but they didn't dare. It was always believed that America supported moral standards, and that those who broke them (primarily Democrats) wouldn't be tolerated for long. Clinton and his slimy sheisters, hanger-ons, and toadies, managed to change all that at the highest levels. Business executives, like monkeys jerking off in the trees, imitate what they see. We allowed them to learn the wrong lessons, because we, collectively, lacked the character to run the criminal, Clinton, out of office.
So the answer to the question is a resounding YES! Enron, WorldCom, Global Crossing and whatever else comes next WAS created by the liberals in 1998 and 1999 when they refused to let go of Clinton, and we didn't run them out of power for it. In other words, if you want to look the person in the face who's to blame for today's corporate scandals, just go look in the mirror. And keep mumbling the phrase "everybody does it", because YOU have made that come true - in spades.
George Bush will now begin to clean this mess up, just as he is cleaning up the multitude of other Clinton messes. In November, the people will give him a Senate to help. Dummy up and watch for the next 6 years... |
