One thing I was noticing just now is....SVGI has Annual Revenues of $639.9 mil for FY ending Sep 96, and has 3,072 employees.
ROE: 3.0
For comparison, I pulled ASMLF's data, ASMLF has Annual Revenues of $770.9 mil for FY ending Dec 96, and has 1,123 employees.
ROE: 44.0
And we hear rumors that Europe is less efficient than we are here!?
Maybe we are going to be forced to become somewhat proactive shareholders? I've never done this before and wouldn't know where to begin, but it kind of looks like he could use some assistance. [I'm sure he would be thrilled to hear this :~)] IMHO, SVGI could really use AMAT's global presence, distribution and support....meaning I would throw my votes in the hat with yours and Cary's, but would also be happy if SVGI can GET IT DONE ON THEIR OWN!...But, don't take forever!
