Re: Some would say the administration is being cynically scapegoated for the acts of terrorists. Gordon, Some are saying that this administration found some scapegoats on Sept. 12 who were totally convenient to plans that has already been hatched. The fleet already moving toward Pakistan, orders on GWB's desk on Sept. 9, 2001 for the invasion plans. John Ashcroft trying to suppress anti-terrorism efforts within the F.I.B. Several of the purported "Saudi Arabian hijackers" appeared on Saudi Arabian Television in the weeks after 9/11, proving that they were alive and couldn't possibly have been the perpetrators. The Administration changing its story and claiming that this could be explained away by "idenetity theft". While most of the Arab world was saying that they understood how Lee Harvey Oswald felt. That some of their native sons had indeed been made "patsies" for a diabolical Washington conspiracy. Yup, scapegoats. We got lots of them. -Ray
