High-Tech East..I agree. J.T., I was just a bit tired then to handle that discussion on leaders and politics that would ensue (naturally) had I answered your (J.T.'s) initial question in more detail.

Hence my terse reply initially.

Could not resist adding some.

About Bill Bradley..I agree that politics is a rough game and if you wanna make it big then..you know

Also Patriotism and (blind) Nationalism..different.

After Bubba, folks have been somewhat keen on finding someone they can BELIEVE in imo. I can understand the feeling. Me included to some extent.

They seemed to have found that someone and are reluctant to let go at this point. Belief (in people, mind you) can work contrary to fact and knowledge and is driven by emotion.

Almost like a "please do not wake me up from this idealized situation I have built FOR myself, that I found with such difficulty and after all this waiting. Don't tell me I am wrong (again)".

Kind of akin to the persistent (even after all that has happened) bull market dreams and dreams of annualized 10 % returns over the next 20 years or so that one finds usually in investor surveys.

At this point they are reluctant to part with their "find". Over time, who knows.

And again.

Words are cheap.

Money is expensive.
