Hi ACF Mike, Thank you for the congratulation. One day I will be right on the facts and wrong on the truth, but hopefully will have hedged enough via allocation to not matter.

In all sincerity (well, maybe not all; perhaps a bit less than all), I really am just keeping an on-line interactive journal recording my journey through the financial-scape, narrowly surviving one disaster, and I really am looking for mutual support as well as reciprocated challenge of the threaders.

My merit badges so far: Survived Crash 87, TianAnMen 89, Redchip 94, Asian Crisis 97-98, Softbank 99, Nasdaq Crisis 2000, WTC 2001, False Recovery 2002.

SI is, in fact, an effective multi-processing network of investors. If Merrill Lynch goes down below the waves, they screwed up. If all SI-ers lose money at the same time, the world has come to an end.

Chugs, Jay
