My life span significantly exceeds 40 years, which is what my time frame for investing is. I don't know about you, but trading possibly causes anxiety and shortens life span. I feel your pain, dude.
As for the wash, I do not get your point. That, however, is hardly surprising, as you always make as much sense as a certain English major.
As for the rest, the difference between you and KT is that he is smart enough not to claim victory over a 2 year underperformance. By the same token, I won't claim victory over a decade of above average performance. You probably would, either way.
