CBOE put/call is as if yesterday did not happen. Bizarre. The equity only has been running around .5 all day.

I think every time we get one of these accounting scandals, and goodness knows, we never wrote about that on SI very much over the last 2 years -g, the public thinks "Oh, that's good. We are weeding out the bad guys and tightening up the system." The practices being exposed were used by everyone. When competing, you generally adopt the lowest common denominator to get results. What companies were competing for since at least 1999 was stock price.

This will all end so badly. It's a shame really and I am not looking forward to the mess the world will be in in 2 or 3 years, let alone 5 of 6. Sigh...

Still hanging in, but The Middle Road is feeling some tightness in the chest. -g For it to survive, a very sharp squeeze is needed, but, who the hell is short? It's still possible. I am a firm believer that good moves only come when it looks like the opposite is likely.
