In asian societies that can afford PIs, there aren't many HIV-positive patients. It's sort of like paying for U.S. rights to a trypanosome-specific drug, except that, given that HIV is transmitted human-to-human, the potential is there.

I'm of a different camp..... $6 million sounds just fine.
