**You had splendid trading performance in the period form 1998-2000 as well. :-)**
actually, i didn't do badly, over all. however, i did greatly underperform the mania markets (internet, communication) during that time frame.
however, i don't need a mania to support my performance. most do. the problem is, manias just don't occur that often and the disaster they leave behind more than offsets the "good" they did.
we both think long term and agree this is bad, no?
**No, I didn't put money in a lump sum into the NASDAQ, ever. Not my style. As I had posted in this board, I started to move money in regular, measured intervals from the S&P to the Nasdaq starting in 2000, with a goal of being done with the process in 2004. I am still in process of doing that.**
i know. i just make fun of you b/c you never mentioned this fact until you were underwater. -lol-
at least, i never saw it while the naz was going up. -lol-
you were very wise to dca, i'll give ya that. |
