What Jack Welch may have done is kids' stuff compared to what the former execs from Enron actually did...Until Ken Lay and his henchmen are in prison there will be no real justice in our system. Right now Lay is using millions in ILLEGAL profits to fund a huge legal campaign to stay out of jail and shield his family from lawsuits. IMO, we ought to go after the Ken Lays of this world just as aggressively as we hunt down Al Qaeda terrorists.

btw, I believe Ken Lay and his henchmen may have caused more damage to our economic system than Bin Ladin has...the War on Terrorism and the new WCOM and TYCO scandals shift the focus...An obvious winner is Enron, which recedes further from the public's eye and gets less scrutiny from an overwhelmed Justice Dept. and SEC staff...I will be quite amazing if Lay, Fastow, or Skilling ever pay big fine and spend serious time in prison --> that would send a CLEAR MESSAGE to corporate America. It doesn't matter if Mr. Lay is / was The President's friend...we need to aggressively prosecute Execs who commit insider trading and fraud / racketeering...the evidence is there...Will the SEC and Justice Dept. step up to the plate...??
