Like all too many company's RATL has been basically run for the benefit of management and management only. In FY '01 they paid out more compensation(salary, bonus and options) to their top five managers than the company produced in net profits!! Imagine a rather small company produces a net profit of $72M(that's what the shareholders get) while a handful of people take home more than $85M. One of the key barometers that I use in evaluating a company is whether their exec's get absurd comp. If they do its a sign that the company isn't run for the shareholders and I stay far away... RATL sinking fast...
