KLP, I haven't checked the thread yet, but am sure that the new is out that the judge that caused this boondoggle has put his ruling on hold. Evidently, he's not that dumb. The public was about to tar and feather him. I also understand that the doctor that started all of the complaints that led to this, is receiving a lot of negative phone calls, even from those he thought were his friends.
IMHO, it was made clear when the Constitution was written, that the amendment calling for separation of church and state, was intended to prevent total control of a sovereign nation by any religious faction, such as was the case in Italy, France, England, Spain, and other European nations at the time. That same amendment allows for the free worship of religion, but the atheists fail to mention that part. I wonder what they think about the nations that are totally controlled by Islam, and bent on the destruction of all other religions. |
