Exactly what my satire intends to say
An unaccountable government is what we have, that is all-powerful and able by sleight-of-hand to make our treasury disappear, and our wallets lighter, without representation.
This past two years has increased debt and spending by 1/3 of a trillion, and intends to go another two trillion. Saying taxes are reduced is a crock, all that matters is that spending is done, and that's a tax no matter how you look at it.
And yet what is the spending? Is it on domestic defense? No, only foreign adventures, with film coverage, but only excuses for results. Is our country safer? Not to hear the administration talk. We're more subject to terrorism than ever, according to the leadership.
Like with the "war on drugs", where the more you spend the worse the results, I'm beginning to wonder about the true priorities of this war on terrorism. |
