I did about 6 of them for modest profits, but lost it all(plus some) on an itwo play. Stopped trading entirely in April, and have only done covered calls since. They're Good for income, but a lousy hedge against the losses I sustained in my portfolio's value. Bill had the right idea when he punched out of the market a few months back. This is a lousy time to be an optimist.
