9500/Netscape

There are lots of variables with browsers. It took me about a month to sort out my 6100.

1) Upgrade to OS 8 when it comes out. Beta reports show a *great* improvement in stability.

2) RAM permitting, create a 3.5 (or so) MB RAM Disk on the desktop. Using Netscape's Network Preferences, assign the browser's cache to it and match the size.

Or, if you're ram-challenged and don't mind taking a speed hit, then set the browser's cache to "zero".

Either way, you keep those troublesome image files *out* of your system folder.

3) Use Norton's to tighten up your hard drive. Moderate disk fragmentation makes my browser bug out.

These should help.
