You must have known I was going to peek...

After reading your message here, I could not help myself
but to give you an "Attaboy!"

I think you are right on.

The only place I scratched my head was:

oh, and... don't elect anyone to lead or represent you
who doesn't understand the concept of putting service
to ALL of life first before protecting his or your
individual butt.

It certainly seems that these individuals are hard to come
by. Especially in these days where many are afraid to
voice it publicly.

Where can I find a list? <g> <ng>

It's hard to even find an elected official who might have
actually seen some reasoning in the "Pledge" decision.

The out cry this is getting makes me wonder how far we have
to go just to get people to see the foundation upon which
this country was built.

Anyhow, I just wanted to to tell you that you arranged a
bunch of words in a way that makes sense to me.

BTW, as soon as I saw your message about the vision quest
thing, I had a feeling you were out watching fire...
Did you say hello for us?

I've been enjoying the break from the internet, even though
it continues to call me every day.
I've been busy rereading an excellent book called The Tao
of Inner Peace.

amazon.com

The more I read it, the more I understand you.

Actually, the more I read it, the more I understand myself.
I never actually knew I was a Taoist.

The book still has not brought me much inner peace but at least I
sort of know what I have to do...

I love the Tao philosophy and find it odd that more people
are not turned on to it. Perhaps many do not know about it.
It opens my eyes the more I read into it.

The next book I read might have something to do with
overcoming procrastination...

I have another birthday coming up and I still don't feel
I've done anything to point myself in the right direction.

Is this the signs of the beginning of a mid life crisis?

I better stop procrastinating and do something before I
figure out it is...

I'm going to the Yankees vs Mets game tonight. Perhaps
that along with a beer or two and a hotdog will help do
the trick...

I'll check back here next week. I have a busy weekend.
Little League Picnic and a barbeque on Long Island.

Enjoy the lake. Don't smoke too much.

Love you all.
