Playing It Down

Besides Nortel, companies with news releases that played down the
importance of WorldCom to their business included Juniper
Networks Inc., an infrastructure provider. For three of last year's
four quarters, WorldCom's orders were 10% of sales for the
Sunnyvale, Calif., company, making WorldCom one of its top two
customers. Thursday, Juniper said WorldCom is expected to
represent less than $7 million of its second-quarter revenue. In the
first quarter, Juniper's revenue totaled $122 million.

WorldCom's difficulties are far more painful for Juniper than for
Cisco Systems Inc. Analysts estimate the network provider last year
earned about 1% of its total revenue from WorldCom. A Cisco
spokeswoman said, "We don't comment on customers."

We have gone from 17% of sales dave Faber report.. to 14% of sales yahoo.. to now 10% of sales. Pretty soon it will be we didn't have a relationship with wcom.
