the crazy thing about this Xerox revelation is that, IF they don't have a liquidity crisis (i have not looked at the balance sheet recently) this will eventually be spun as POSITIVE.

those $3 (or $6, or whatever) billion of improperly recognized revenue were revenues that were supposed to be recognized in the FUTURE but were instead brought forward. now that past revenue gets erased from the books. but, since it is no longer recognized, it can now get recognized GOING FORWARD, thus INCREASING future estimates. just you watch, if XRX has enough cash to get through this mess, they'll be beating numbers for the next 4 years.
