mind and eric,

I don't think that AG had any choice since 96 because the game had gotten well out of his hand. I don't think that anyone could have cleaned the mess much better any way. And I don't believe the next Fed chairman will be less interventionist. He will be forced to keep playing the game and get the ball rolling. Actually I am expecting that we will get a less and less free market.

Anyway, I have been convinced that the dollar is at the early stage of a long bear market that will might years. How it will affect our economy down the road is anyone's guess. I cannot see a nation burdened with such heavy debt from top to bottom can see healthy growth in economy consistently down the road. And also probably we are only in the 3rd or 4th inning of the accounting scandal game. How will that affect foreign investors still remain to be seen, although I don't see that it have a crashing effect our US investors because a majority of us are brainwashed by Abby anyway.

Have a nice and safe July 4th vocation.

larry!
