Yep, that's what structured products are... got a little 'tax problem' with some IBM you own from $2 and you want to dump @ $120 but just HATE paying taxes cause after all you're only worth $35million and the Underwoods next door have twice that! Well, here at "financial products" I'll simply do a x year swap with you... IBM vs S&P to take all your IBM specific risk away. Then we'll do the S&P/Libor too so you can sleep at nite. Now, the fees seem high... but hell you're essentially delaying paying taxes on $10million as long as you want so don't cry too hard and sign here.... on the banksters dotted line. DAK
