<Had there been any Vatican-owned church property left in China, they would have been confiscated as well. Hey, guess what, they were, along with the AIG headquarters and Shell House in Shanghai.>
Jay, that was perhaps my maternal grandfather's house, which they left in 1923 as the situation deteriorated. It has taken nearly 100 years for me to start recolonizing China with CDMA [with some help from Irwin Jacobs and co], which is much more valuable than oil, which was the original colonizing medium, with money as the lubricant.
It was short-sighted of China and India to kick out the colonists. Maoris were much more cunning, tricking the colonists into moving in and buying land, signing up to be British too, then milking the colonists for the next 150 years and using the colonists' DNA to carry their DNA.
China and India had half a century of going backwards. Now, they have recognized the value of colonisation and are going gung ho with it, doing like the Maoris.
Mugabe is going to do for Zimbabwe [and local gold mines] what Chairman Mao and the Great Leap Backwards did for China and foreign investors. I would not want to have anything to do with Zimbabwe, even if they do have some mines - I see no reason why Mugabe shouldn't just take them over [without compensation of course].
