Tom,
I guess management has really lost credibility on wall street, so letting Fisher go is a good thing, I think he's forced out. But the interim CEO is coming from another screw up company Sipex that I happen to know a thing or two.
It happens quite often when the stock price of a small company collapsed, they invoke this "shareholders rights". It acts to fend out hostile take over. Don't need to read too much into it.
