Not weak at all. One of my most basic investment rules is to run like a thief when an asset class cannot rise on good news. Conversely I like to jump in when a depressed asset class refuses to go down on bad news. I suspect we will see the latter situation prevail again in gold stocks within 2-3 weeks-- they will hold steady and/or rise as the dollar moves north.
