But the problem I have is that by doing the above, Dave could be taking SS retirment benefits away from his own parents. It's a direct transfer of money to those getting the benefits. I think SS is a big mess but do I want all my Dad and my other retired relatives and friends' parents to lose their benefits? no.

So I think about that and then I go hide my head under a pillow.
